Product Manager (F/M)(100%)

net mobile Schweiz corporation is a part of NTTdocomo, a global mobile industry giant. It's a leading international full service provider for mobile and interactive value added services with offices in Dusseldorf (headquarter), Hamburg, London and Zurich. net mobile's key customers include Vodafone, Orange, O2, Mobilkom, Swisscom, Orange, Sunrise, E-Plus in countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria or Spain. Activities in emerging markets such as India have been started just recently.

Located in the Zurich office the Product Manager is responsible for keeping the innovation of our mobile platform continuously on the highest level. This includes new features in our content management systems, best quality content delivery from games to videos, apps and web apps solutions for the iPhone, Android and others and the seamless integration of mobile-targeted statistics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics. In addition to that he/she enriches the platform by finding ways how to integrate major social networks such as Facebook or Twitter.

He/she will closely work with the net mobile R&D department as well as the Projects and Sales teams to make sure the platform meets the technical and commercial requirements and is the best in its class compared to competitors.

Your responsibilities:

• Product lifecycle management of core platform components such as:
  • Mobile content and customer management systems
  • Audio and video encoding engines
  • Content injection and delivery systems
  • Reporting and statistics tools
  • On-device apps and web apps solutions
  • Innovative pay-per-use third-party services ("Service Cloud")
• Product strategy and roadmap planning:
  • Product strategy definition with the management and all involved parties
  • Product release and roadmap planning
  • Group-wide rollout planning
• Improvement of existing products:
  • Definition and priorization of product extensions
  • Performance optimization measures
  • Bugfix management
• Introduction of new products:
  • Requirements engineering and technical specifications
  • Evaluation of different technologies
  • End to end project management within product lifecycles
    

Essential Skills and Experience:

• You are a highly motivated and creative individual with very good experience in web or mobile project management. Experience in product management is a plus.
• You have proven experience in managing and developing consumer-facing web or mobile products, also from a technical point of view.
  
• You are able to translate your profound technical product knowledge in a language everyone in and outside the company can easily understand. You lobby for your products.
• You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan work effectively.
• You are able to work in partnership and pro-actively collaborate with colleagues across the group.
• You are located in Zurich but you are willing to travel and work abroad for short periods of time if it is needed.
• Your English language skills are on a very good level (spoken and written), German language skills are welcome but not a must.
